We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandiser with a strong background in textiles. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of various fabrics, their sources, and a proven track record in the textile industry. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth production and delivery processes.rnr

Key Responsibilities:rn• Fabric Knowledge & Sourcing:rno Identify and source various types of fabrics from domestic and international suppliers.rno Stay updated on textile market trends, pricing, and fabric i

ovations.rno Evaluate fabric quality and negotiate pricing with vendors.rn• Product Development & Coordination:rno Work closely with design and production teams to ensure fabric selection meets quality standards and cost requirements.rno Coordinate sampling and approvals for fabric and trims.rno Maintain relationships with fabric mills, vendors, and manufacturers.rn• Order & Supply Chain Management:rno Monitor the entire supply chain process, from fabric procurement to final production.rno Track order status, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve supply chain challenges..rn• Client & Vendor Communication:rno Act as the main point of contact between buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers.rno Communicate order details, specifications, and requirements effectively.rno Address any quality concerns or production issues promptly.rnr
Requirements:rn• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in textile merchandising or a related role.rn• Fabric Knowledge: Strong understanding of woven, knitted, and specialty fabrics and their sources.rn• Industry Experience: Must have prior experience in the textile/apparel industry.rnrn• Skills:rno Strong negotiation and communication skills.rno Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.rno Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
